FAQs

  • I’ve never worked with a counselor or therapist before. Will it be weird?

Maybe. Truly opening up to another person about the challenges you are experiencing isn’t the norm. Most of us are unskilled with this. We are taught to push our difficult emotions down and charge forward. The problem is, this doesn’t work. So yes, opening up can be hard, a little weird and slightly uncomfortable, but I am skilled in making the uncomfortable comfortable so that you can go to deeper and deeper levels of you.

  • Therapy seems expensive. How will I know it’s worth it?

Mental health is an investment in YOU. The work we do together and the gains made with a skilled practitioner are invaluable and are something that can never be taken away. You will continue to build on the learning and growth you experience, giving even more value to your investment. You will feel the benefits of working together, knowing that you’re worth it and the work you are doing is a priceless gift to yourself.

  • I’ve seen other therapists or counselors before. How are you different?

You know when you meet someone and you just like them? They seem different. Perhaps a little sparkly, more peppy, more hopeful. They have pizzaz! That’s me. I am passionate about the work I do and that devotion and zeal can be felt by the clients I work with. I genuinely and sincerely honor each client and they learn to do this for themselves, too. Sometimes we need someone else to see us and honor our light within before we can do this for ourselves. I see your light and can help you shine brighter.
